Beyoncé and Jay-Z have officially been removed from a sensational lawsuit filed against Sean “Diddy” Combs, after the plaintiff, Manzaro Joseph, amended his initial claims and retracted his explosive accusations involving the music power couple.
Joseph, who previously accused Diddy of drugging and humiliating him during a 2015 birthday party for Diddy’s son, King Combs, had originally alleged that Beyoncé and Jay-Z witnessed him in a compromising situation, wearing a sexually explicit mask.
In his initial filing, Joseph claimed that Beyoncé had reacted with shock, asking why a “half-naked white man with a c**k mask” was in front of her.
However, in newly amended court documents, Joseph has removed all references to the Carters. While the lawsuit still targets Diddy and other individuals, including music producer Emilio Estefan, Beyoncé and Jay-Z are no longer mentioned.
Sources close to the case told TMZ that the retraction followed legal intervention from Jay-Z’s attorney, Alex Spiro. Spiro reportedly presented evidence showing that Jay-Z and Beyoncé were not in Miami at the time of the alleged incident. The message was clear: continue with the false claim, and face potential legal consequences.
This marks the second time in recent weeks that Jay-Z has been cleared in connection with legal actions involving Diddy. A separate lawsuit, filed by a Jane Doe accusing both moguls of sexual assault in 2000, was quietly dismissed last month.
Despite the removal of Beyoncé and Jay-Z from the lawsuit, Joseph is continuing his legal action against Diddy and other parties, seeking damages for what he describes as a traumatic and degrading experience.
