The Princess of Wales has once again charmed the nation with her latest video, celebrating Mother’s Day in a unique way. However, amidst her touching tribute to Mother Nature, royal enthusiasts have noticed something intriguing—a possible new member of the Wales family.
Instead of sharing a customary family photo with her three children, the Princess opted for a video that accompanied a heartfelt message honoring “our bond with the natural world.”
The clip, which features scenes of Kate and Prince William from last summer in Norfolk, showcases the stunning landscapes of the UK. In the footage, Kate, 43, is seen caressing the bark of a tree while Prince William, 42, strolls barefoot through a field alongside the family’s cherished dog, Orla, and an unexpected furry companion.
Eagle-eyed royal fans quickly identified a mysterious brown Cocker Spaniel accompanying Orla, leading to speculation that the Wales family may have quietly adopted another pet. While there hasn’t been any official confirmation, it appears this new addition could belong to Carole and Michael Middleton, who were present when the video was filmed.
“Princess Catherine has a new puppy,” one follower remarked, while another commented, “Looks like Orla has a new brother or sister.” A third person replied, “I noticed that last year in the video, but it never gained attention.”
The footage, captured by Will Warr, was taken last year in Norfolk. The new canine companion may also belong to Kate’s brother, James Middleton, a passionate dog lover and experienced Cocker Spaniel breeder.
