The Prince And Princess Of Wales To Miss Royal Easter Gathering In Windsor

The Prince and Princess of Wales will not attend the annual Easter Sunday service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor this year.

Instead, William and Kate plan to spend the Bank Holiday weekend with their three children—Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six—at their country home, Anmer Hall, in Norfolk.

The family has stepped back from public duties during the children’s school break from Lambrook.

This marks the second consecutive year the couple has missed the Easter service; last year’s absence followed shortly after the Princess shared news of her cancer diagnosis in a personal video.

Buckingham Palace confirmed on April 11 that King Charles and Queen Camilla will attend the Easter Matins service, along with other members of the royal family.

While the full guest list is typically not disclosed in advance, regular attendees often include the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and the Princess Royal.
