Prince Harry has reportedly severed ties with his cousin, Princess Eugenie, after she was seen socializing with former Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan.
This claim, first reported by The Sun, was substantiated by Morgan during a conversation with Daily Mail columnist Maureen Callahan on his show, Piers Morgan Uncensored.
Discussing Harry’s strained relationships, Callahan remarked: “He has zero relationship with his friends and family. [I] just read that he cut off his relationship with Eugenie.”
Piers then interjected, saying, “Well, that was actually because of me—the Eugenie thing—because she was out with me and a group of people at a pub in London. I was seen hugging them goodbye, and Harry witnessed this and went completely ballistic. And I can confirm—breaking news—that this is entirely true.”
Eugenie and her sister Princess Beatrice were spotted leaving The Princess Royal pub in Notting Hill after enjoying a lengthy lunch with Piers and singer James Blunt back in 2023.
This revelation has reignited discussions about the current state of Prince Harry’s connections within the royal family.
Princess Eugenie, 35, has long been seen as one of Harry’s closest supports, maintaining a strong relationship with him even after he and Meghan Markle stepped away from royal duties in 2020. She was among the first family members to visit Harry and Meghan in California and was often seen spending time with them during their visits to the UK.
However, it seems that Eugenie’s association with Piers—who has been a vocal critic of Harry and Meghan—may have strained their once-close bond. Morgan has been one of the most prominent opponents of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, especially following their explosive 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, which led to Piers’s highly publicized exit from Good Morning Britain.
