Meghan Markle shared exciting news about her upcoming brand launch on Monday, bringing a personal touch to a challenging week for her and Prince Harry.
Meghan, 43, initially unveiled a preview of her As Ever collection in February, coinciding with the debut of her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, which premiered on March 4. According to the brand’s website, the first products are set to launch this week for fans in the U.S., despite the official availability date listed as spring 2025.
The product line features Meghan’s signature preserves, hibiscus teas, crepe mixes, shortbread cookie mixes, and edible flower sprinkles.
In her personal newsletter, Meghan expressed her excitement, stating, “Ever since I can remember, I’ve been dreaming of easy ways to elevate the everyday into the exceptional. I always knew I wanted to turn these ideas into something real—beautiful items that spark connection and celebrate quiet, meaningful moments. It’s about capturing the magic of Montecito in a way you can recreate at home.”
She also shared the inspiration behind her collection: “Every item is inspired by how I show care to those in my life, like the lemon ginger tea blend, which is a simple twist on the warm drink I make at home using fresh lemons from the garden. The crepe mix transforms an ordinary weekend breakfast into an opportunity to reminisce. Crepes remind me of my time backpacking through France as a student.”
Meghan paid homage to the raspberry spread “that started it all,” suggesting its packaging be reused, saying, “And by the way, once you’ve savored every spoonful of this fruit spread, you might want to do what I do: rinse the jar and use it as a small bud vase for flowers on your nightstand or to hold your pens on your desk.”
She concluded her newsletter with an encouraging message: “I hope when you see what I’ve worked so hard to create, you’re inspired to know that whatever life brings, you can do it too. Your value, creativity, and joy— that’s who you are, as it’s always been and always will be. You are you—As ever, and forever.”

In a nod to taking risks, Meghan added, “Someone once told me the biggest risk you can take is deciding not to take one at all. Now, after careful planning and preparation (while also parenting!), it’s time to bring As Ever from my home to yours so you can make the everyday exceptional in an easy yet meaningful way.”
Amidst a Publicity Storm
The Duchess’s newsletter was sent out on March 31, coinciding with ongoing allegations regarding Harry’s resignation from Sentebale.
Brand expert Nick Ede said: “There will likely never be a perfect time for Meghan to launch anything. Netflix has probably been working behind the scenes for months to align the launch with her TV show to maximize interest and sales for her As Ever debut.”
“Ede noted that the ongoing bullying allegations could pose a challenge for both Harry and Meghan, stating, “Her team will likely be concerned about the negative media attention surrounding the charity and Prince Harry. This storm is just beginning, and we have yet to hear the full story from either Dr. Sophie or Prince Harry’s team, who will surely respond vigorously to this scandal.”
The Timing of Meghan’s Announcement
Regarding the timing of Meghan’s launch, Ede added, “This has likely been part of the As Ever timeline for some time, as the rollout would have been carefully planned. This is a global launch, and she only has one more chance to get it right! It’s been a rocky path to this point, and she will be hoping the focus shifts to her success and the launch rather than any negative press.”
“There are many stakeholders watching this launch to build her brand, ensuring it can deliver creative revenue, brand equity, and longevity.”
