The Duchess of Sussex has offered a rare glimpse into her home life in Montecito, sharing that both Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet were recently unwell—and that she’s been right by their side nursing them back to health.

Speaking candidly on the second episode of her podcast Confessions of a Female Founder, which dropped Tuesday, Meghan, 43, revealed that Archie, five, and Lilibet, three, had both come down with illnesses—RSV and influenza A, respectively.

“My kids right now—one has RSV, the other has influenza A,” Meghan shared. “I hear the little pitter-patter of feet as they’re home from school, cough syrup all night and rubbing their backs. And we still find a way to show up for both. But being able to be comfortable enough…”

The former Suits star spoke with Reshma Saujani, founder of Girls Who Code and Moms First, in an honest conversation about the challenges women face in the workplace, especially when juggling motherhood and professional ambition.

Meghan reflected on how important it is to be transparent about those struggles:
“Maybe that’s the lesson for this generation—just be honest about the journey. Say, ‘Yeah, today I’m here for you, but I’m in my sweatshirt because I was up all night with my babies.’ But I’m still here, because both things matter.”

The Duchess also touched on her earlier life at Kensington Palace, recalling her first meeting with Reshma back in 2018 while pregnant with Archie: “Yes, it would have been 2018. I was pregnant with Archie at Kensington Palace.”

In a heartfelt moment, Meghan brought up a deeply personal topic—miscarriage. Gently asking Reshma if she was comfortable discussing her experience, Meghan reflected on her own journey:
“I’ve spoken about the miscarriage that we experienced,” she said. “There’s something incredibly difficult in letting go of something you had so much hope and love planned for. But eventually, there’s peace in being okay with that loss.”

The episode offered an intimate look at Meghan’s life as a mother, a public figure, and an advocate—balancing her children’s needs with her own drive to foster honest conversations and meaningful change.
