Ryan Good, a longtime associate of Justin Bieber, has reportedly distanced himself from the pop star, citing issues related to Bieber’s pastor, Judah Smith.
Sources with direct knowledge of the situation told TMZ that Good, who served as Bieber’s former road manager and creative director for the singer’s fashion label, Drew House, has not been in touch with Bieber for over a year.
The rift appears to stem from Good’s departure from Churchome, a Beverly Hills-based church where Smith serves as pastor and which Bieber continues to attend. According to insiders, Good became increasingly uncomfortable with what he saw as cult-like practices within the church, and his unease grew as Bieber’s relationship with Smith deepened. This reportedly led to the breakdown of their friendship.
The situation became more complicated when Bieber added Smith to the board of Drew House, despite known tensions between Smith and Good. The decision was described by sources as “weird,” with some questioning the appropriateness of a pastor taking on a business role within a fashion brand. Bieber and Smith, who have shared a close relationship for years, have even appeared together publicly, including during a trip to Las Vegas for Super Bowl LVIII.
Despite their fallout, sources say Good continues to express concern for Bieber, especially following his recent public behavior. Videos of Bieber partying at Coachella and a confrontation with paparazzi near the festival grounds have raised concerns among fans and insiders alike.
Sources close to Smith told TMZ that he holds no ill will toward Good and wishes him well. They also noted that the lack of communication between the two was initiated by Good. Efforts to reach Bieber’s team for comment have not yet received a response.
