Isabelle Dale, a 23-year-old prison officer from Portsmouth, has been charged with misconduct in public office after allegedly engaging in simultaneous sexual relationships with two inmates—Shahid Sharif, 33, and Connor Money, 28—between September 2021 and December 2022.
In addition, Dale faces charges of conspiring to smuggle drugs into Swaleside high-security prison in Kent.
Her alleged co-conspirator, Lilea Sallis, 27, from Brighton, is also charged in connection with the drug smuggling plot. Sharif is accused of being part of the conspiracy and possessing a mobile phone in his prison cells.
Notably:
- Sharif is serving time in Swaleside and Brixton prisons.
- Money, who is not facing charges over the relationship, was jailed for causing a fatal crash while fleeing police.
- Dale and Sallis have been released on bail with strict no-contact conditions.
- A hearing is set for next month at Inner London Crown Court.
