Michael Weatherly is soaking up the sun on a well-deserved vacation after completing an eight-month shoot for NCIS: Tony & Ziva in Budapest.
The actor, known for his role as Tony DiNozzo, has been sharing glimpses of his tropical getaway with his family, including wife Bojana Jankovic and their children, Liam and Olivia.
While the exact location of the getaway remains a mystery, Weatherly has certainly sparked some travel envy with photos of stunning ivory sands and crystal-clear blue waters.
On April 4, the 56-year-old actor took to Instagram to share his “relaxation” schedule, joking, “If lunch is at 12, my massage at 2, and swimming at 3, do I have time for a nap before cocktails?”
The Weatherly family’s vacation is a two-part affair. Before heading to the beach, they enjoyed some skiing in St. Moritz, Switzerland. Michael shared a photo on social media of himself and his 11-year-old son, Liam, enjoying a ski lift selfie, showcasing their father-son bonding on the slopes.
After the snow-capped mountains, Michael swapped skis for massages and beachside relaxation. It’s clear he’s taking full advantage of this break after months of intense filming. Now that production on NCIS: Tony & Ziva has wrapped, fans are eagerly awaiting the show’s premiere later this year.
In response to fan questions about the release, Michael teased that the debut was imminent. When asked when the spin-off would be available on Paramount+, he joked, “Oh hi-ho! It’s so, so… close to nearly being a thing we can show,” adding a playful comment about doctors being good at golf due to their “patients.”
When Tony & Ziva finally airs, fans will get to witness the highly anticipated reunion of Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David (Cote de Pablo). The series will follow the pair as co-parents raising their daughter, Tali, and navigating a thrilling European adventure after Tony’s security company is attacked.
