Hugh Jackman left fans stunned this week with a daring video that sparked both admiration and concern.
The 56-year-old Wolverine star, known for his love of cold water therapy, took things to the next level with a risky stunt that had many of his followers urging him to “be careful.”
In the video, Hugh is seen soaring along an extended zipline, clad only in swim trunks, before plunging into a lake that he described as “cold.” As he hits the water, Hugh resurfaces, panting heavily, and exclaims, “Oh, yeah. That’s cold,” while swimming back to shore.
While many fans were impressed by his bravery, others expressed concerns about his safety.
One follower commented, “Hugh, be careful,” while another wrote, “But you’re completely crazy, Hugh!!! Even though it must be so fun to do!!” A third chimed in, “You’re also slightly insane for doing it, but we love you anyway,” and a fourth added, “As if it isn’t crazy enough to do a ‘normal’ polar bear plunge. Of course, you found [something] to top it.”

Although Hugh didn’t reveal the location of his stunt, he has been in Ireland filming his upcoming movie The Death of Robin Hood.
The action-packed film, produced by True Brit Entertainment and A24, is directed by Michael Sarnoski and stars Hugh alongside Jodie Comer, Bill Skarsgård, Noah Jupe, and Murray Bartlett. The film offers a darker reimagining of the Robin Hood legend, with the character grappling with his criminal past.
Production on the film began in February in Northern Ireland, and it promises to be a fresh take on the classic tale.
Director Michael Sarnoski expressed his excitement about the project, stating, “Securing the perfect cast to transform the script to screen was essential. I could not be more thrilled and trusting in Hugh and Jodie to bring this story to life in a powerful and meaningful way.”
In addition to his acting career, Hugh is set to return to his Live From New York, With Love show at Radio City Music Hall, and he recently announced another new venture, which is sure to keep him even busier.
