A young woman is accused of poisoning her boyfriend to death after discovering he had been unfaithful, in a tragic incident that took place in the Iyo Polo community, Marine Base, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Reports indicate that after allegedly killing her boyfriend, the woman hid his body under the bed in his room for three days.
Local residents grew suspicious when they noticed a foul odor coming from the victim’s apartment. Concerned neighbors tried to contact him but received no response.
Their suspicions deepened when they noticed the woman acting unusually and refusing to let anyone enter the apartment.
After authorities were alerted, law enforcement forced entry into the room and discovered the victim’s decomposing body.
The woman was arrested and taken into custody for further investigation. Authorities have not yet released an official statement on the motive behind the alleged crime, but early reports suggest that it may have been triggered by a domestic dispute.
