George Clooney left fans astounded in 2022 when he revealed that he and his wife, Amal Clooney, have never had an argument. Now, three years later, that extraordinary claim still holds true.
In a recent interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings, the 63-year-old actor reflected on his decade-long marriage, saying, “I remember we were here with you once before and we said we’d never had an argument. We still haven’t. We’re trying to find something to fight about!”
George added, “I feel so extraordinarily lucky to have met this incredible woman. I feel like I hit the jackpot. There isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t think I’m the luckiest man in the world. So it’s great.”
Back in 2022, Amal confirmed her husband’s statement, sharing that even her family finds the couple’s dynamic surprising.
“It’s maddening to some of our friends. I have a cousin who, every time we see him, his first question is, ‘So have you had an argument yet?’ before he even says hello,” she explained.
During their 2022 interview with Gayle King, the host couldn’t hide his disbelief. “Seriously? You’ve never had an argument?” he asked the couple.
To which George jokingly responded, “Would you like us to right now? Would that make you feel better?”
