The Duchess of Sussex’s former employee and close friend Mandana Dayani has shared a glowing tribute to the Duchess of Sussex in celebration of the launch of her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard (stylized as As Ever).
Mandana, a well-known human rights activist and former entertainment executive, was hired by Meghan and Prince Harry in 2021 as the first Chief Operating Officer (COO) of their Archewell Foundation.
Although she stepped down from the role in December 2022—just before the release of the couple’s Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan, in which she appeared—her admiration for the Duchess clearly endures.
Taking to social media, Mandana posted a candid update featuring her dog Bauer, who was photographed playfully reaching into a hamper full of As Ever products. Alongside the charming image, she penned a heartfelt message to Meghan:
“@meghan, I will never forget the first time I came to your home and you walked me back to my car with the most beautiful garden basket and eggs from your coop for our girls.
“It’s been years since you first shared your big dreams for @aseverofficial with me, and I can’t believe it’s finally here. Congratulations! I can’t wait for all that is to come. (Caught Bauer trying to steal my jam.)”
Her post also included two additional photos showcasing the elegantly curated products from Meghan’s brand, set against the backdrop of Mandana’s picturesque garden.
While it’s not entirely clear how Meghan and Mandana originally met, the two share roots in both the entertainment world and social advocacy. Mandana previously worked as a producer on The Rachel Zoe Project, and later joined Rachel Zoe Inc. as head of operations.
She is also the co-host of The Dissenters, a podcast she launched with Will & Grace star Debra Messing. The show has featured prominent guests including Hillary Clinton, Jane Fonda, Eva Longoria, and Sophia Bush.
Mandana is just one of several high-profile figures who received a launch gift from Meghan’s brand. Kris Jenner also took to Instagram to express her excitement, writing: “I can’t wait to try every single thing! I’m so excited!!!”
