A woman has reportedly killed her younger sister with a machete in Enugu State.
The incident took place in the Aji community within Enugu-Ezike, located in the Igbo Eze North Local Government Area.
Sources indicate that the woman’s identity remains unknown, and she also attempted to attack her mother and her sister’s child with the machete.
The victims were quickly transported to Bishop Shanahan Hospital in Nsukka, where they are currently battling for their lives.
Chijinkem Ugwuanyi, a media personality from Enugu, shared a video on Facebook on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, featuring the suspect. In the video, the woman claimed that a strange spirit possessed her, prompting her to commit the horrific act.
