The royals’ schedule also featured a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, as well as a visit to the iconic Colosseum, where they learned about Italy’s rich cultural heritage and ongoing restoration efforts on the monument.
The day’s events will conclude with a reception at the British Embassy in Rome, where King Charles will meet representatives from the British-Italian community.
