Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Junior has spoken out regarding the recent interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia.

The 24-year-old Brazilian forward, who has just two years remaining on his current contract, has been the subject of speculation about a potential exit from the Spanish capital.

Saudi Pro League clubs were reportedly willing to offer Real Madrid a staggering £200 million for Vinicius, matching the world-record transfer fee that Neymar commanded when he moved to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017.

However, ahead of the Madrid derby in the Champions League on Tuesday night, Vinicius shared his thoughts on his future with Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.

“I am very calm because my contract runs until 2027, and I hope to renew it as soon as possible because I am happy here,” he stated.

“I am living the dream of playing with the best players in the world, under the best coach, with the best president, and the best fans.

“Everyone here loves me dearly. I couldn’t be in a better place. It has always been my childhood dream to succeed here, and now that I have achieved that, I am excited about writing my own story.”
