Eugene Henley Jr., widely known as Big U, a prominent figure in the Rollin’ 60s Crips, has announced that he is turning himself in after being named in a federal RICO indictment.

In a video shared on Instagram, Big U was seen in a van with his family, calling the charges against him “bull crap” and requesting prayers. He insisted that he has spent years uplifting his family and community, dismissing the allegations as “straight trash.” He also expressed gratitude to supporters standing by him.

Big U accused Wack 100 and 600 of being responsible for his legal troubles, alleging that 600 was present with law enforcement during a raid on his home. He also claimed Wack 100 collaborated with the FBI and city officials to block him from receiving financial support. He further argued that Black men working to improve their communities are often targeted by federal authorities.

Federal prosecutors have charged Big U with multiple serious offenses, including murder, human trafficking, and extortion. According to court documents, he was allegedly involved in a January 2021 homicide, where he and another suspect reportedly shot an aspiring rapper in the head before disposing of the body in the desert.

During a press conference on Wednesday, March 19, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced the arrests of 10 individuals, including part-time rappers Bricc Baby and Luce Cannon.

In his video, Big U distanced himself from them, claiming he does not associate with them and suggesting they may testify against him.

Despite the severity of the charges, Big U has maintained his innocence, asserting that he has done nothing wrong and expects to be cleared of all accusations.
