Alesha Dixon has announced the end of her relationship with dancer Azuka Ononye, with whom she has been for 18 years. The singer recently took a trip to Jamaica to unwind amid their separation.
The 46-year-old Britain’s Got Talent judge informed friends about her split from the 44-year-old Ononye but clarified that they continue to live together for the sake of their two children.
Earlier this month, Dixon traveled to Jamaica to take a break and enjoy some time in the sun with her friends.
A source revealed, “Alesha has confirmed her split from Azuka and is doing her best to navigate the situation. They are still living together for their family and are committed to co-parenting.”
The source added, “Alesha went to Jamaica with friends to soak up some sunshine and escape her busy schedule. It was a much-needed getaway, and she had a wonderful time.”
The Sun reported last November that Alesha had confided in friends about her concerns regarding the relationship and anticipated that a separation was likely on the horizon.
