The Prince of Wales made an unexpected appearance at the football on Wednesday evening, cheering on his beloved Aston Villa as they faced Club Brugge in the Champions League.
The Prince of Wales, a dedicated Villa fan, remained composed during a lackluster first half, where neither team managed to score.
Sitting alongside his close friend Thomas van Straubenzee and two other companions, William maintained a serious expression throughout the early stages of the match. However, the group occasionally shared smiles as they chatted.
At one point, the father-of-three reacted to a missed opportunity from Villa by covering his mouth with his hand.
Fortunately for the royal, the second half brought plenty of excitement. When Aston Villa took the lead with a 1-0 goal, William was seen roaring with pride, and his enthusiasm only grew as the team went on to secure two more goals.
