Meghan Markle, has opened up about the intimate evening tradition she shares with her husband, Prince Harry.
In a recent interview with People, following the premiere of her new Netflix series With Love, Meghan, the 43-year-old revealed that she and Harry, 40, unwind each night with what they call “nightcap recaps.” The routine involves enjoying a drink together while discussing their day and preparing lunchboxes for their children, Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3.
“I think all parents with kids the same age understand—it’s rinse and repeat,” Meghan shared about their daily routine.
Once their kitchen tasks are done, the couple often relaxes with a bit of television. “We love Shrinking. We just finished Black Doves, and we’re excited for the new season of The White Lotus,” she revealed.
Throughout With Love, Meghan, the Duchess gives viewers a glimpse into her family life in Montecito. In one episode, while making a rainbow fruit salad for a children’s garden party, she spoke about the importance of being a present parent.
“It’s a real delight to be able to be a present parent. And sometimes, it’s a luxury because we all have to work and have so much to do,” she said. “But when you can take a moment to find the fun in those little things, it makes for a really sweet start to the weekend.”
Finishing her colorful dish with yogurt and flower sprinkles, she added, “It doesn’t have to be a big party—it’s about incorporating these small practices into everyday life.”
