Teyana Taylor and Aaron Pierre have seemingly confirmed their romance on Instagram following the 2025 Oscars.
The singer, known for her hit “Gonna Love Me,” and the “Mufasa: The Lion King” actor shared a collection of black-and-white photos from the prestigious event, with Taylor captioning her post, “Oscar night in black & white, no grey area.”
In the images, the couple is seen facing each other before striking a back-to-back pose for the final shot.
Taylor, 34, dazzled in a black gown featuring a dramatic cutout at the back, a plunging neckline, and a thigh-high slit, complemented by metallic heels. Pierre, 30, looked sharp in a classic black tuxedo by LOEWE, accessorized with a white bowtie and gold-framed glasses.
While they walked the Oscars red carpet separately, the pair were photographed together later in the evening alongside Niecy Nash and her wife, Jessica Betts.
Taylor’s post garnered enthusiastic reactions from several celebrities, with Kim Kardashian commenting with a black heart emoji, and Taraji P. Henson exclaiming, “YES MA’AM!!!!!!!!!!!!” Lori Harvey added, “Niceeeeee,” while Yvonne Orji enthusiastically remarked, “Okayyyyy nooowww.” Jodie Turner-Smith chimed in, “IT’S RIGHT HERE IN BLACK & WHITE HONEYYYYYYY.”
The couple was last seen together at the Fifteen Percent Pledge Gala on February 1, where Pierre shared photos from the event on Instagram.
Previously, Taylor was linked to Leonardo DiCaprio in October 2024 after they were spotted dancing closely at a New York City club. Before dating Pierre, she was married to former NBA player Iman Shumpert from 2016 until their separation in 2023.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, Taylor confirmed their split, stating, “Iman and I are separated and have been for a while. To be 1000% clear, ‘infidelity’ isn’t one of the reasons for our departure. We are still the best of friends, great business partners, and make an incredible team when it comes to co-parenting our two beautiful daughters.”
