Senator Natasha Submits S*xual Harassment Petition Against Senate President, Akpabio

On March 5, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central, filed a petition during a plenary session, accusing Senate President Godswill Akpabio of s*xual harassment.

Citing Order 40 of the Senate Rules, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan mentioned her previous comments made during an appearance on Arise News Channel’s breakfast show regarding the alleged harassment and stated her intention to formally present the issue as a petition in the Senate.

As the presiding officer, Akpabio encouraged Senator Natasha to go ahead with her submission, which she subsequently did.
