An 18-year-old man has lost his breath in a road crash which left two 17-year-old passengers fighting for their lives in hospital.
The tragic collision happened at around 23:15 on Friday night on Offoxey Road in Tong, near Shifnal, Shropshire, involved a silver Audi A1.Â
Police say the car was travelling together with red Vauxhall Corsa and a black VW Golf, but have stated the other vehicles were not involved in the collision.Â
The 18-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene, while two passengers, both aged 17, were taken to hospital after sustaining life-threatening injuries. The pair remain in a critical condition.Â

A third passenger, also aged 17, sustained life-changing injuries, but is now in a stable condition.
Officers say the families of those involved in the collision have asked that their privacy is respected at this time.
Police has since appealed for witness.
Inspector Steph Arrowsmith of the force’s serious collision investigation unit, said: ‘This is an incredibly sad incident and first and foremost our thoughts remain with the family of the man who died, and those who are seriously injured.
‘We’re asking for the public to help us understand what happened.’
