Princess Lilibet’s Charming Hidden Talent Revealed By Her Mother, The Duchess Of Sussex

The Duchess of Sussex provided a delightful glimpse into her children’s personalities in her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, including a revelation about Princess Lilibet’s hidden singing talent.

In the fifth episode, as Meghan prepares for a girls’ lunch with her close friends Abigail Spencer and Kelly McKee Zajfen, she shares tips on flower arranging. While elegantly laying out flower stems, she mentions keeping a garbage can nearby for easy cleanup and also reveals that her three-year-old daughter Lilibet has composed her own song.

This isn’t the first time the young princess has showcased her musical creativity. Back in January, when Meghan announced the heartbreaking loss of their beloved rescue dog, Guy, she shared an emotional montage that featured Archie, five, and Lilibet singing their own version of the song “Normal American Boy” from the musical Bye Bye Birdie.

Their touching lyrics included, “We love you Guy, oh yes we do, we love you Guy and we’ll be true; when you’re not near us, we’re blue.”

During a joint trip to Nigeria with Prince Harry in May 2024, Meghan mentioned that Lilibet’s favorite activity was “singing and dancing.”

In another episode of the Netflix series, while cooking with chef Roy Choi, Meghan noted that Lilibet sways and dances when she enjoys her food, saying, “It’s good. My daughter does the same thing. When she likes something, she’s eating, she starts to sway a little bit.”

Archie and Lilibet are growing up away from the public eye in Montecito, California, as Meghan and Harry have chosen not to feature their children’s faces in photographs. Lilibet makes a brief appearance in episode five, where Meghan talks about how her daughter loves assisting with homemade preserves.

“She picked all the berries. She’s proud and that part feels good,” Meghan remarked as footage showed Lilibet’s hands picking berries.

While Archie was born in London in 2019, Lilibet was born in Santa Barbara. On The Drew Barrymore Show, which aired on March 6, Meghan shared adorable insights into her children’s accents, saying, “Some of the words that they still say with a British accent, so they’ll say z-e-b-r-a,” emphasizing the “zed” sound. She added, “There are little moments where it comes out, because they have very American accents, but they say words just like him [Prince Harry], and I think it’s adorable. Zebra is a good one.”
