Princess Eugenie’s Family Nickname Bears A Striking Resemblance To Prince Louis’

The British royal family is known for their fondness for affectionate nicknames, and Princess Eugenie’s recently revealed moniker is no exception.

On Sunday, as Princess Eugenie marked her 35th birthday, her mother, Sarah Ferguson, took to social media to share a heartfelt tribute to her youngest daughter.

Among the photos was an image of Eugenie’s pink birthday cake, decorated with the words “Eugie Boogi”—a previously unheard family nickname that caught the attention of royal fans.

Interestingly, the pet name is reminiscent of the sweet nickname the Princess of Wales uses for Prince Louis.

During his first official engagement in May 2023, while visiting the 3rd Upton Scout Group in Slough, Kate was overheard affectionately calling her youngest son “Lou Bug.”

As she helped Louis toast marshmallows over an open flame, she handed him a stick to dispose of, saying, “Pop that in the fire, Lou Bug,” revealing the adorable term of endearment.
