Vivian Wilson, the transgender daughter of Elon Musk, has claimed that the billionaire deliberately used IVF to conceive male children.
Vivian, 20, is one of six children Musk shares with his first wife, Justine Wilson. In a post on Threads, she accused her father of using sex-selective IVF for his children, including herself.
“My assigned sex at birth was a commodity that was bought and paid for,” she wrote.
She continued, “So when I was feminine as a child and then turned out to be transgender, I was going against the product that was sold.”
Vivian further expressed her frustration, stating, “That expectation of masculinity that I had to rebel against all my life was a monetary transaction. A monetary transaction. A MONETARY TRANSACTION.”
While it remains unconfirmed whether Musk specifically chose the sex of his children through IVF, he has fathered 13 children with four women—Justine Wilson, Claire Elise Boucher (known as Grimes), Shivon Zilis, and Ashley St. Clair—several of whom were conceived via IVF.
Musk and Grimes’ son, X Æ A-Xii, was conceived through IVF, and their daughter was born via surrogacy.
In a follow-up post, Vivian doubled down on her criticism, questioning the legality of the procedure: “How the f**k is this legal?”
Musk, who is estranged from Vivian, has been outspoken against gender ideology. In a 2024 interview, he claimed he was misled into signing documents that allowed his son to receive puberty blockers.
“I lost my son, essentially. My son is dead, killed by the woke mind virus,” Musk told Jordan Peterson. “So I vowed to destroy the woke mind virus after that.”
