Meghan Markle delighted fans on Thursday by marking the arrival of spring with a heartwarming photo of her daughter, Princess Lilibet.
Taking to Instagram, the Duchess of Sussex shared a charming snapshot of Lilibet picking strawberries.
The little one was seen holding a ripe strawberry, with a basket filled with fruit in various stages of ripeness. While Lilibet’s face remained hidden, her tiny arms and hands were visible, along with a cozy grey jumper she was wearing.
In the caption, Meghan simply wrote: “Cheers to the first day of spring!”

The moment was a sweet nod to Meghan’s lifestyle series With Love, Meghan, where it was revealed that Lilibet enjoys strawberry picking. In the fifth episode, she even made a brief cameo in a photo showing her in the midst of gathering berries.
Reflecting on a homemade batch of jam she served to her guests, Abigail Spencer and Kelly McKee Zajfen, Meghan shared a touching story: “Lili and I actually made this batch together. She picked all those berries with me, and then she said: ‘No, no mama, I’ll do it!’ She wanted to stir it and mash it herself—she was so proud.”
A clip from the episode displayed Lilibet carefully placing a freshly picked strawberry into a basket, dressed in a pink long-sleeved top and floral leggings.
Meghan also gave insight into her children’s healthy eating habits, revealing: “We have a veggie platter every day at our house.” She explained that her focus on presentation encourages them to eat well, adding: “You eat with your eyes first.”
This heartwarming moment was one of many Meghan shared throughout the episode, which featured wholesome family anecdotes. She also revealed that Prince Archie caught two trout last summer, inspiring a fun cooking session where she taught both of her children how to salt-bake fish.
