Lady Amelia And Lady Eliza Spencer Discuss Weddings In Their First Couples’ Photoshoot

Laughter fills the air under the warm South African sun as captivating society twins Ladies Amelia and Eliza Spencer, along with their charming partners—Amelia’s husband Greg Mallett and Eliza’s boyfriend Channing Millerd—collaborate on their very first joint photoshoot, a world exclusive for HELLO!.

The energy is electric among the four of them as their playful chemistry shines through while they pose against the stunning backdrop of La Cotte Farm in sunny Franschhoek, a picturesque wine region near Cape Town, the coastal city where they all grew up.

“It feels like we’re getting married; this is good practice for walking down the aisle,” Eliza smiles, linking arms with Channing for a photograph. She admits, “Marriage is definitely something we’ve discussed,” and it’s easy to understand why thoughts of weddings are on her mind.

This location holds special significance, as it’s where Amelia and wellness ambassador Greg spent the night before their spectacular wedding in 2023, which was exclusively covered by HELLO!. The couple, who celebrated their second anniversary last week, are still very much in love, with Greg affectionately kissing Amelia on the forehead during the shoot, while she sweetly refers to him as “angel.”

Both Greg and Channing serve as the girls’ biggest supporters throughout the shoot, complimenting them on their glamorous outfits as they effortlessly pose for the camera. In turn, the girls cheer on their partners when it’s their turn to shine. The strong bond among the four is evident as they enjoy working together in a place that holds deep personal meaning for all of them.

Reflecting on the stunning photoshoot at La Cotte Farm, Amelia expressed, “Being back in South Africa for this HELLO! shoot feels incredibly nostalgic and special. It’s such a beautiful country that brings back so many memories from our childhood.”

She reminisces about growing up there with Eliza, their older sister, model Lady Kitty, younger brother Louis, Viscount Althorp, and their half-brother Samuel Aitken. “Every visit feels like a big family reunion,” she adds. “We spend a lot of time outdoors—hiking in the mountains, relaxing on the beach, enjoying nature… There’s an indescribable energy in South Africa. We feel so fortunate to have such a strong connection to this place.”

This trip is particularly meaningful now that the quartet has moved to London, where the twins, represented by Storm Management, have successful modeling careers and are in demand at the most exclusive fashion and societal events, always looking impeccable in coordinated ensembles.

“We definitely share the same taste, so choosing our looks is usually a breeze,” Eliza notes. “We love having fun with fashion. The best part is that we always feel in sync.”

The twins have shared a connection since birth, being the daughters of Earl Spencer—the brother of Diana, Princess of Wales—and their mother, former model Victoria Aitken. “We’ve always had a unique understanding of each other. We often know exactly what the other is thinking,” Amelia shares. “There have been countless moments where we can sense what the other is experiencing without even speaking.”

Recently, the twins took a DNA test and discovered they are identical twins. “When we found out, it felt like a piece of the puzzle clicked into place—there’s a deeper bond now that we realize we share this even stronger genetic connection.”

Their connection is palpable when you spend time with the twins, who frequently finish each other’s sentences. Luckily, their partners are also close friends; Greg and Channing attended school together.

“Channing is one of my best friends. We played many of the same sports, like rugby and water polo, and naturally share a lot of the same interests,” Greg recalls, as a lighthearted debate about who excels in water polo ensues.

With a playful tone, he adds, “More than that, we share the same values—loyalty, ambition, integrity, and a strong sense of family—which has strengthened our bond over the years.”
