A knifeman randomly attacked a passerby during a horrific early-morning rampage.
Two people were rushed to hospital as the attacker slashed four and leaving a ‘fifth victim’ hurt outside shops in Kingstanding in north Birmingham.
CCTV shows the man strolling down the street while wielding a knife before brutally striking at a passerby on Saturday morning.
The knifeman then walks away as his victim sprints down the road.
Emergency services swarmed Hawthorn Road and Kingstanding Road at around 6.30am Sunday after reports of a man on the loose with a knife.
Police said four people were slashed and released images of a man believed to be injured but who has not come forward yet.
Officers urged the man, or anyone who recognised him, to contact them.
The attacker is arrested and remains in custody.
