The Duchess of Sussex is preparing to debut her new Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, which is set to air on March 4. The program promises a delightful mix of curated gardening and cooking, featuring “elevated” recipes alongside valuable tips and tricks.
In conjunction with the show, Meghan will also launch her new business venture, As Ever, offering a range of lifestyle products that include her American Riviera fruit preserves and various home and gardening items.
Meghan’s show embodies many of the royal family’s favorite pastimes and traditions. Having married Prince Harry in May 2018, the former Suits star initially lived in Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace before moving to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor. Now residing in Montecito, California, the Los Angeles-born actress seems to have embraced British customs and quirks inherited from both her husband and King Charles.
An Affinity for Nature
With Love, Meghan emphasizes a profound appreciation for the outdoors and the natural world. Although some segments were filmed at a neighbor’s property, gardening and foraging play a central role in the series. Behind-the-scenes glimpses reveal Meghan picking raspberries, strolling through a landscape filled with lemon and avocado trees, and exploring a vibrant vegetable garden.
The royal family shares this passion for gardening and growing their own produce. King Charles, a well-known environmental advocate, is particularly dedicated to cultivating unique green spaces at his various royal residences.
For instance, at Balmoral, his cherished Scottish retreat, he has transformed the kitchen garden to include apricots, plums, peas, courgettes, tomatoes, blackcurrants, gooseberries, raspberries, peaches, and more. Additionally, the royals enjoy foraging, especially for mushrooms, with Charles and Camilla reportedly competing to see who can gather the largest haul—a hobby Charles has cherished for years, including a solo foraging expedition back in 2011.

Highlights from the series also showcase Meghan hosting afternoon gatherings with celebrity guests like actress and comedian Mindy Kaling. One memorable scene features the Duchess admiring a beautifully set table adorned with flowers and turquoise balloons.
