Nigerian lawyer Ninnah Samuel has shared her thoughts after a job seeker submitted a CV using an unprofessional email address.
The lawyer pointed out that the applicant sent her CV from the email address “[email protected].” She mentioned that she only became aware of the email address after her boss brought it to her attention, describing the job seeker as “unserious.”
She took to her social media page to express her views, writing: “How on earth do you submit a CV and your email is [email protected] If I trash this CV now, you will say we have judged you hastily and it has affected your mental health,” she wrote.
“I didn’t even notice it, it was my Boss who said who is this unserious human being of a joker? You could just answer your name and surname together; eg [email protected]. imagine me using Sexyninnah4life . UN will never take me seriously. Even I, will not take myself seriously. Let’s be intentional small, serious organizations consider the tiniest details.”
