EU Condemns Russia’s Latest Strikes, Says Putin Has No Interest In Peace

European Union foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas has criticized Russian President Vladimir Putin, stating that his latest bombardment of Ukrainian cities proves he has no interest in peace.

Kallas emphasized that Russia’s relentless drone and missile attacks contradict ongoing discussions aimed at ending the war. She urged the international community to increase military support for Ukraine, warning that failure to do so would result in more Ukrainian civilian casualties.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been working to repair relations with U.S. President Donald Trump following their tense White House meeting last month.

As part of this effort, Zelenskyy has expressed willingness to sign favorable minerals deal with the U.S.

Ukraine continues to suffer from Washington’s suspension of intelligence-sharing and the freeze on arms supplies.

Additionally, Russian and North Korean troops have reportedly breached Ukraine’s defences in Russia’s Kursk region, an area where Ukrainian forces have maintained a presence for the past seven months.
