Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has been accused of s*xually assaulting a man in 2022, according to a new lawsuit filed in New York County Supreme Court.
The alleged victim, identified only as “John Doe” in the lawsuit filed by attorney Tony Buzbee, claims he was “drugged and forcibly r*ped” by Combs after being scouted while performing on the streets of Los Angeles in November 2022.
Doe, described as a young musician at the time, alleges that an associate of Combs invited him to an exclusive A-list birthday party at a private residence, where he met the Bad Boy Records founder. He claims Combs gave him a drugged drink and made multiple promises about securing him a major recording contract.
According to the lawsuit, Doe became incapacitated from the alleged drugs and was coerced into performing oral s*x before being r*ped.
“Because of Combs’ power and notoriety, and because he was shocked and embarrassed, Doe did not report what had happened,” the lawsuit states.
Doe is seeking a jury trial and compensation for physical injuries, emotional distress, psychological harm, and other damages.
Combs’ legal team has denied the allegations, dismissing them as baseless.
“As we’ve said before, Mr. Combs cannot respond to every new publicity stunt, even in response to claims that are facially ridiculous or demonstrably false,” his attorneys said in a statement.
They reiterated that Combs “never s*xually assaulted or trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor” and expressed confidence that the truth will come out in court.
Combs, who is currently in jail after multiple bond denials, is set to go to trial on May 5 for s*x trafficking and racketeering charges. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
