Owodunni Ibrahim, popularly known as Primeboy, has filed a lawsuit against Abosede Adeyemo-Aloba, the mother of late singer Mohbad.
Primeboy, a close friend of Mohbad (real name Ilerioluwa Aloba), accused Mohbad’s mother of making defamatory statements about him following her son’s passing.
He shared a photo of the legal document filed at the High Court of Lagos, Ikeja Judicial Division, on his Instagram page today, February 19.
The document reveals that Primeboy is demanding N50 million in damages for “libelous, injurious, false, and malicious statements made and published on March 28, 2024, through various media outlets with the intent to defame him in the eyes of reasonable members of society.”
In October 2024, Primeboy’s lawyer, Akinpelu Ogunbona, released a statement alleging that Mohbad’s mother had accused him of having an altercation with her son before his death.
Primeboy described the allegations as character defamation, claiming they were intentional and had negatively impacted his relationship with his fans.
