A hotel owner in Lagos has admitted to engaging in s*xual relations with a 16-year-old boy named Chiagoziem, but firmly denied using him for rituals.
The accused, who operates a hotel in the Bucknor area of Isheri Oshun, revealed that he had sexual encounters with Chiagoziem on two occasions, but stressed that the allegations of ritualistic intent are false.
This comes after Edozie Christian, a spare parts dealer from Ladipo market, reported that his son exhibited signs of mental distress after disclosing to his mother that the hotelier had lured him and four peers to his establishment, where he allegedly assaulted them and threatened to harm them if they spoke out.
Following his arrest, the hotelier insisted to police that he had not engaged in any rituals. “I swear on my life that it was only s*x with Chiagoziem, and I did not use him for any rituals,” he said.
He further claimed, “I swear in the name of my late parents and my children, I never engaged in any rituals—only s*xual activity. If I had, may God take my life and that of my descendants.”
The hotelier firmly maintained his innocence regarding any ritual practices, asserting, “My money is clean.”
