The Reason Mariah Carey To Perform At King Charles’ Royal Residence

Best known as the royal family’s Christmas retreat, Sandringham is set to transform into a major music venue this summer, welcoming some of the biggest names in the industry.

Following the success of the 2023 Heritage Live concerts—where acts like Robbie Williams, The Who, and Van Morrison performed—the Norfolk estate will once again host a star-studded lineup. Among the headline acts is American pop legend Mariah Carey, who will take the stage at the outdoor event on August 15. She will be joined by Nile Rodgers & Chic and Eternal.

The 55-year-old singer-songwriter first rose to fame in 1990 with her self-titled debut album and made history as the only artist to have their first five singles reach No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100, including Vision of Love and Emotions.

Giles Cooper of Heritage Live Festivals expressed his excitement, stating:

“We’re absolutely thrilled to bring one of the greatest pop artists of all time to the Royal Sandringham Estate for an exclusive UK headline show. Mariah Carey is an award-winner, a record-breaker, and an absolute global icon—this show will be historic. Her live performances are second to none, and with such a catalog of huge hit singles, it’s going to be an incredible occasion. This will undoubtedly be an ‘I was there’ moment that fans will never forget.”

Mariah is also set to headline the Brighton Pride Festival on August 2.

Other big names set to perform at Sandringham include Welsh rock band Stereophonics on August 16, followed by Canadian singer Michael Bublé on August 17.
