Meghan Markle announced the launch date for her new venture with a post on the official Instagram account for her business, As Ever.
Meghan revealed the name of her forthcoming brand on Monday, accompanied by its debut photo featuring a beloved family member.
The image shows Meghan drizzling honey over a plate of croissants, with jars of jam and fruit spread across a table in her Montecito Garden.
Keeping her company is Mamma Mia, the Sussexes’ pet beagle, who sits by Meghan’s side as she prepares breakfast. Meghan and Prince Harry adopted Mamma Mia from California’s Beagle Freedom Project in 2022.
The couple also shares their home with a Black Labrador named Pula, along with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Sadly, Meghan recently lost her rescue beagle, Guy, who had been with her since 2015 when she adopted him from a Canadian rescue center.
In an emotional social media tribute, Meghan described Guy as “the best guy any girl could have asked for,” highlighting his presence during key life moments, from her Suits days to her engagement, marriage, and the births of her children.
She shared that Guy faced significant health challenges after a serious accident prior to her move to the UK, but he recovered with the help of Dr. Noel Fitzpatrick and his team. Meghan expressed deep gratitude to everyone involved in Guy’s care.
Meghan also revealed that Netflix has partnered with her for As Ever. She explained: “In two weeks, my show is coming out, which I’m so excited for, and also my business, which I think there’s been a lot of curiosity about. Last year, I thought ‘American Riviera’ was a great name, but it felt limiting to things made in this area. Then Netflix came on board, not just as my partner for the show, but also for my business, which was huge.”
