Israel has blamed Hamas for murdering siblings Ariel and Kfir Bibas ‘with their bare hands’ after the terrorist group handed over their bodies.
‘Ariel and Kfir Bibas were murdered by terrorists in cold blood. The terrorists did not shoot the two young boys—they killed them with their bare hands’, Israeli Defence Forces spokesperson Daniel Hagari said in a statement today.
‘Afterwards, they committed horrific acts to cover up these atrocities’, he added, after the Israeli military carried out forensic checks on their remains.
Ariel and Kfir were taken by Hamas alongside their mother Shiri and father Yarden during the October 7, 2023 attacks. The boys would have been aged four and 10 months respectively at the time.

The Hostages and Missing Families Forum says it is ‘shaken’ by the army’s revelation that Palestinian terrorists murdered the two Bibas boys with their ‘bare hands.’
‘We are shaken to the core by the horrifying findings confirming the cruel and brutal murder of Ariel and Kfir Bibas — just innocent infants — at the hands of Hamas,’ the group said in a statement.
Kfir and Ariel’s father was released earlier this month as part of an already shaky ceasefire deal between Hamas and Israel.
The Palestinian terror group handed over four bodies yesterday, two of them identified as baby Kfir and his brother Ariel, while a third body that was supposed to be their mother, Shiri, was found not to match with any hostage and remained unidentified.
Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to ensure that Hamas ‘pays the full price’ after the terror group failed to return the body of Shiri, in what the prime minister has called a ‘cruel and evil’ violation of the ceasefire.
