A 19-year-old British student has pleaded guilty to the brutal murders of his mother and two younger siblings at their family home.
Nicholas Prosper had been scheduled to stand trial next week for the killings of his 48-year-old mother, Juliana, 16-year-old brother, Kyle, and 13-year-old sister, Giselle, on September 13, 2024.
During a brief six-minute hearing at Luton Crown Court, Prosper changed his plea and admitted to all three murders. He is set to be sentenced over two days next week.
In addition to the murder charges, Prosper also confessed to purchasing a 12-ball Nikko shotgun without a certificate the day before the attack.
He further pleaded guilty to possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life and carrying a kitchen knife when he was apprehended by police near Bramingham Road following the attack.
Prosper was remanded in custody and will face sentencing on Wednesday and Thursday before Judge Michael Simon.
No family members were present in court for the hearing.
