The Nigerian artist won the Grammy for Best African Music Performance at the 67th Grammy Awards held in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 2.
Tems’ hit song “Love Me Jeje” triumphed over tracks like Yemi Alade’s “Tomorrow,” Asake’s “MMS,” Chris Brown’s “Sensational” featuring Davido & Lojay, and Burna Boy’s “Higher” to secure her win.
Davido expressed his congratulations to Tems on X, also extending his praise to Chris Brown for winning Best R&B Album.
