Rapper Kanye West is being sued by a former Jewish employee who alleges harassment and repeated praise of Nazi leader Adolf Hitler during her time working for Yeezy.
The plaintiff, filing under the pseudonym Jane Doe, claims she was fired in June 2024 after raising concerns about West’s antisemitic behavior during her six-month tenure as a marketing specialist for the brand.
Court documents obtained by TMZ reveal that West allegedly sent text messages such as “Welcome to the first day of working for Hitler” and “I Am A NAZI” when she suggested he release a statement condemning antisemitism.
The lawsuit also claims West verbally abused her and sent unsolicited pornographic content through text messages.
The plaintiff says she was terminated just one day after reporting West’s behavior to her manager.
“Unable to control his prejudice, (West) rewarded Plaintiff with the same antisemitic vitriol he recently condemned to the public,” the lawsuit states. It further alleges that West “orchestrated a calculated campaign to threaten and psychologically torment Jewish people around him, specifically Plaintiff.”
The suit seeks damages for discrimination, harassment, retaliation, creating a hostile work environment, and breach of an oral contract to pay wages.
