Daniel McCartney of 33&West announced on social media, “Effective immediately, I’m no longer representing Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) due to his recent hateful and harmful remarks, which neither I nor 33&West can stand for.”
This decision comes in the wake of West’s controversial social media posts and the sale of inflammatory merchandise through his Yeezy website.
West shared multiple posts on X (formerly Twitter), including offensive comments about the Jewish community and expressions of admiration for Adolf Hitler.
In addition to these antisemitic remarks, West also made controversial statements regarding his wife, Bianca Censori. “This ain’t no woke as feminist s—,” he posted. “She’s with a billionaire. Why would she listen to any of you dumb ass broke bitches? People say the red carpet look was her decision. Yes, I don’t make her do nothing she doesn’t want to.”
West’s comments referred to Censori’s outfit at the Grammys, where she wore a sheer dress that exposed her body. He later added on X, “She wouldn’t have been able to do it without my approval, you stupid ass woke pawns. I have no respect or empathy for anyone living ’cause no one living can f— with me, but I do love some people and I give them favor.”
West’s Yeezy website was also removed from Shopify after he attempted to sell a $20 white T-shirt with a black swastika design.
