The joyous news was announced on Instagram by Queen Rania, Princess Iman’s mother, who shared a series of candid hospital photos, including a heartwarming shot of herself and King Abdullah cradling their granddaughter.
In the photos, the baby girl looked adorable wrapped in a knitted cream blanket with mustard pom poms and a soft pink hat.
Queen Rania revealed the baby’s name in her caption: “My darling Iman is now a mother. We’re grateful and overjoyed to meet Amina, our family’s newest blessing. Congratulations Jameel and Iman – may God bless you and your precious little girl.”

The announcement was met with an outpouring of congratulations from royal fans. “Many many congratulations,” one fan commented, while another wrote, “Congratulations for the best start of the year.” A third added: “The best grandfather and grandmother in the world. I wish you a thousand congratulations.”
Princess Iman, 28, and Jameel announced their pregnancy back in January with a beautiful sunset photo on the beach, where Iman proudly displayed her baby bump. Their caption, translated to English, read: “Both are dear to my heart, but the coming one is more precious ….. May God end well. Two is a couple, three is a blessing.”
