Sir Timothy Laurence, husband of Princess Anne, is preparing to celebrate a milestone birthday this week.
The retired Royal Navy officer, who married Anne in 1992, will turn 70 on 1 March and is likely to mark the occasion privately at their home in Gloucestershire.
