President Trump Makes Final Call On Prince Harry’s U.S. Residency

Donald Trump has made a decision regarding Prince Harry’s residency in the United States while the Duke of Sussex is in Canada for the Invictus Games.

The former president had previously suggested that Harry could face deportation due to his past admissions of drug use. However, in a recent interview with the New York Post, the 78-year-old confirmed he would not take any action. When asked about the possibility, Trump responded, “I’ll leave him alone.”

He then took aim at Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle, adding, “He’s got enough problems with his wife. She’s terrible.”

The Duchess of Sussex has been openly critical of Trump in the past, referring to him as a “misogynist” and “divisive.”

Harry’s immigration status has faced scrutiny, particularly following the release of his memoir, Spare, in which he admitted to using drugs such as cannabis and cocaine. The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank, has questioned whether the Duke was granted a visa exemption, as U.S. immigration law typically considers drug use grounds for inadmissibility.

Trump has previously expressed a strong stance against Harry, telling the Daily Express US, “I wouldn’t protect him. He betrayed the Queen. That’s unforgivable. He would be on his own if it was down to me.”

The former president’s latest remarks come as Harry and Meghan arrived in Vancouver to host the 2025 Invictus Games.
