A pregnant California teenager was killed in a hit-and-run after confronting a man over his relationship with her underage sister.
Kaylie Corona, 16, was two weeks away from her due date when she was struck and killed late at night on February 2 in Riverside.
Isaac Blackhorse Garcia, 19, allegedly mowed down the young mother-to-be after she confronted him for having a sëxual relationship with her 15-year-old sister, report KTLA.Â
‘Investigators determined that the suspect, 19-year-old Isaac Blackhorse Garcia of Moreno Valley, had been in a sëxual relationship with the victim’s teenage sister,’ Riverside Police said.Â

‘When he dropped the sister off at home, family members approached his vehicle. Garcia then sped away, striking the victim with his car.’

Doorbell camera footage captured the moment Corona’s family rushed to her aide and begged neighbors to call 911.Â
Garcia’s black Mercedes-Benz was also captured speeding through the neighborhood.
Corona was rushed to the hospital where she ultimately succumbed to her injuries. However doctors were able to save her baby, whom the family calls Elena.
‘The baby is in critical condition at a local children’s hospital,’ Riverside Police Department Public Information Officer Ryan Railsback told the local news station.
Garcia was arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on charges of murdër, hit-and-run resulting in death and unlawful sëx with a minor. He is being held without bail.
