A manhunt is underway after a teenage boy arrived at Liselotte Funcke School in Hagen, Germany, intending to target his ex-girlfriend with a weapon.
Armed police rushed to the school on Wednesday, February 12, after reports that the teen, believed to be armed, was seen near the building around 8:30 a.m. Students and teachers promptly alerted authorities.
The girl is now safe, according to police.
The suspect, believed to be between 16 and 18 years old, is reportedly the girl’s ex-boyfriend and not a student at the school.
