Meghan Markle Shares Heartwarming Insight Into Prince Harry’s Role As A Devoted Dad

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry arrived in Vancouver, Canada on Friday evening ahead of the 2025 Invictus Games, where Meghan made a rare and touching comment about Harry’s dedication as a father.

During an impromptu speech at a friends and family dinner, the Duchess of Sussex praised her husband, describing him as a hands-on dad who balances his commitment to Invictus with his role at home.

“What you won’t have seen is all of the moments that have happened in the lead-up to these Games—the morning rush, getting ready for school, packing lunch boxes, making breakfast,” Meghan shared.

She went on to highlight a sweet father-son moment with their five-year-old son, Prince Archie, recalling:
“My husband’s in all of that with us, and then he’ll be on his phone, and Archie will say: ‘Papa, why are you on your phone?’ And he’s like: ‘That’s Invictus. I’m getting ready for Invictus.’”

Although Archie and his younger sister, Princess Lilibet, three, didn’t accompany their parents to the Games, Meghan assured fans that their “sweet children” would be cheering them on from California.

At the 2023 Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, Meghan had expressed her hopes of bringing their children along in the future:
“We can’t wait to bring our kids also so they can experience just how awesome this is,” she said at the time.

Meghan marked her first day in Canada with a passionate kiss as Harry took the stage. She looked radiant in a sleeveless chocolate brown dress, wearing her dark locks in soft, elegant curls. Meanwhile, Prince Harry looked sharp in black trousers, a matching jacket, and a crisp white shirt, making a stylish pair for the special occasion.
