Marius Borg Høiby, the eldest son of Norway’s Crown Princess Mette-Marit, has been accused of r*ping TV presenter Linni Meister, 39, in a new s*xual assault case involving the 28-year-old stepson of Norway’s future king.
The alleged assault reportedly took place at a “castle basement party” at Skaugum Castle in 2018, when Borg Høiby was 21. According to Norwegian publication Se og Hør, law enforcement has a video clip of the incident.
Meister reportedly did not remember the assault and only became aware of it when law enforcement informed her at the Oslo Police Station, showing her three videos and over ten photos of the alleged attack found on Borg Høiby’s laptop.
Following the report, Meister posted a statement on Snapchat confirming the allegations, writing: “I understand that there are many who want to comment on the case Se og Hør is reporting today, but I will not comment on it, other than that it is true.” She added, “I really feel for the person’s family. This has to end… I really hope the person gets serious help.”
Borg Høiby, currently under investigation for multiple s*xual assault cases and drug-related offenses, has not commented on the latest allegations.
John Christian Elden, Meister’s lawyer, told Se og Hør: “In a crime of this kind, this is highly unusual… but of course it is his right. He can refuse to testify.”
Marius Borg Høiby is the stepson of Norway’s Crown Prince Haakon. His mother married the future king when he was four, and his half-sister is the future Queen of Norway.
