Kensington Palace Issues Statement Regarding Princess Of Wales’ Fashion

Kensington Palace has issued a statement addressing recent reports about the Princess of Wales’s clothing.

Early on Tuesday, a spokesperson from the Palace emphasized that there has been no change in their policy, contradicting recent claims to the contrary.

The statement indicated, “Over the past week, I have received many inquiries regarding an article about The Princess of Wales’s attire and the manner in which Kensington Palace shares details about her outfits. To clarify, the remarks in the article were made by me, not by The Princess of Wales. These comments should not be directly attributed to her.”

The spokesperson continued, “To be clear, there has been no alteration in our approach to communicating information about Her Royal Highness’s clothing.”

For many years, the Palace has shared information about Kate’s outfits for special events but has chosen not to do so for her daily engagements, as they prefer to emphasize her work.

During last week’s episode of A Right Royal Podcast, hosts Andrea Caamano, Emmy Griffiths, and royal editor Emily Nash, along with ITV’s royal journalist Lizzie Robinson, further clarified the matter, noting that while the story had resurfaced three years after its original reporting, the information itself was not new.
